Plastering runs deep in my blood-three generations deep. My grandfather built his own plastering business from the ground up and ran it for 50 years, mastering the trade with his hands and heart. My dad followed in his footsteps, spending 40 years perfecting the craft and passing down everything he knew.

 

I grew up surrounded by the smell of fresh plaster, the sound of trowels smoothing surfaces, and the sight of my dad bringing walls to life with skill and precision. At first, I didn't see myself following in his footsteps exactly. I was always drawn to art, creating pieces that blended texture, movement, and depth.

But the more I experimented, the more I realized how much my artistic side mirrored what I saw in my dad's work.

Plastering wasn't just about covering walls; it was about bringing spaces to life, just like painting a canvas.

Eventually, I embraced it fully. I started my own plaster company, combining the technical skilis I had learned from my dad with the creative instincts that had always been a part of me. Every project became a work of art—whether I was smoothing out a wall or creating a textured finish, it felt like an extension of my artistic process.

Now, I run both my plastering business and my art business, and the two feel deeply connected. Each stroke of plaster, each brush of paint-they all come from the same place. I see texture, depth, and beauty in both, and I love that I get to merge craftsmanship with creativity every single day.

Plastering isn't just a job for me. It's a legacy, a passion, and an art form-one that I'm proud to carry forward.
